Ruppur NUCLEAR POWER PLANT in Bangladesh
2019 - Until now
The Ruppur NPP is a nuclear power plant under construction in the Republic of Bangladesh on the eastern bank of the Padma River, 160 km from the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka. The Ruppur NPP is being designed and built according to a Russian project developed by Atomenergoproekt JSC, which includes the construction and commissioning of two power units with VVER-1200 type reactors. The capacity of each unit will be 1200 MW. On December 25, 2015, a general contract was signed for the construction of the Ruppur NPP in Bangladesh during the visit of Rosatom CEO Sergey Kiriyenko. According to the plan, the first NPP unit will begin operation in 2023. the second is in 2024 .
EL-DABAA NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN EGYPT
2021 - Until now
The El-Dabaa NPP is a nuclear power plant, the construction of which has begun in Egypt in the city of Ed—Dabaa in the governorate of Matruh, about 130 kilometers northwest of Cairo. 4 power units with Russian-made reactors will be built at the site according to the project of JSC ATOMPROEKT - VVER-1200. On April 10, 2019, the site for the construction of a nuclear power plant was officially approved. The launch of the first unit of the El-Dabaa NPP is planned in 2024-2026.
AKKUYU NUCLEAR POWER PLANT IN TURKEY
2019 - 2020
The Akkuyu NPP (Akkuyu Nükleer Güç Santrali) is a nuclear power plant under construction on the southern coast of Turkey. The Akkuyu NPP is being constructed according to a Russian project, which includes the construction and commissioning of four power units with VVER-1200 type reactors.
