Container transportation

Container transportation accounts for up to 50% of the total volume of cargo transportation in the world. The main task of our logistics department at the stage of calculations and planning the delivery of a particular cargo is to select the route, the transport used and the appropriate container. Our knowledge and accumulated experience help us to accurately select the most balanced and profitable delivery method.

The advantages of container transportation include the following:
· the safety and security of the cargo, as the container is sealed and sealed after loading.;
· savings due to the lack of intermediate loading and unloading operations;
· the ability to transport dangerous, bulk, liquid, bulk and fragile goods;
· versatility of the container and automation of work along the entire route of the container;
· the ability to track cargo at any time;

However, do not forget about the disadvantages of this type of transportation, so that it does not come as a surprise during the delivery process:
· relatively low speed of delivery;
· dependence on weather conditions (storm, etc.), which increases the time;
· the need for proper fastening of fragile goods/furniture/equipment, etc.;
· additionalthe costs of putting the container up for inspection/MIDC during customs clearance.
